About Banaza Enterprises

Banaza Enterprises is a startup formed under the Indian Partnership Act, 1932, at Kottupadam in Vazhayur Panchayat, Malappuram district, Kerala, India. The main business of Banaza Enterprises is to produce value-added products from agricultural produce and bring them to the market.

The first line of business of Banaza Enterprises is the production of various flavored chips made from banana, taro, tapioca, sweet potato, and edible flavour, for marketing in India and abroad. The company’s main focus is on producing banana flavour chips using low-fat fortified and flavored chips technology developed by scientists at the National Research Centre for Banana (ICAR-NRCB), Tiruchirappalli, a central government institute. Production is carried out by candidates who have received training from NRCB.

Banaza Enterprises has adopted innovative technology and obtained an official license from the ICAR–Central Tuber Crops Research Institute (ICAR–CTCRI), Sreekariyam, Thiruvananthapuram, under the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (Government of India), for the manufacturing of fried and flavoured chips made from Tapioca, Taro, Sweet Potato, and Tapioca powder mixtures, among other products.
